Our History
LaShekia Scott, LMFT-A, LCDCI is the founder of Instru-Mental Powerhouse Life Center (IMPLC) - Family Therapy in the state of Texas and Washington. LaShekia and her spouse, Donnell Scott worked together to establish the first IMPLC in the state of Texas to provide quality mental health services to children, couples, and families statewide. Recently, the second IMPLC private practice was conceived in the state of Washington under the same mission and vision.
To further IMPLC's mission of providing quality mental healthcare services to the community and underserved families, we are dedicated to working with other agencies aligned with the mission and vision.
Through our dedication to saving lives and fostering deep connections with her clients, we strive to enhance the mental well-being of individuals and communities, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Lashekia Scott, LMFT-A, LCDCI
Introducing a compassionate and dedicated guide to navigate life's challenges with you. When faced with adversity or feeling trapped in difficult circumstances, LaShekia will be there to provide unwavering support and walk alongside you on your path towards healing, freedom, and inner peace.
LaShekia holds licenses as a Marriage & Family Therapist-Associate and a Chemical Dependency Counselor - I. She has earned a Post Master's degree in General Family Therapy from Northcentral University and a Master's degree in Human Services: Marriage & Family Counseling from Liberty University.
She brings specialized training to assist children, adolescents, couples, families, and individuals who are dealing with various mental health issues.
LaShekia empowers individuals and families to overcome challenges, build healthier relationships, and discover their personal strengths. With a focus on promoting growth and well-being, she is dedicated to helping you achieve a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Remember, you don't have to navigate life's difficulties alone.
